We are running EasySocial 1.1.6 on Joomla 3.2.2 with a Helion Template. When you go to browse applications you can see the icon and the button (install, settings, uninstall) but no text. If I use the mouse to highlite them the text is viewable. I switched to another template and they are viewable. Any suggestions as to where to look to fix this issue as we really like the Helion template and it seems to be the only thing that isn't working. I've attached a screenshot of it. Thanks for any suggestions as to where to look.
Hello Brad,

Looks like there's some css conflicts going on there. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to check on this for you?

Hi Mark,

We found an issue with an extension (Simple Random Quotes) that had been working. Once we disabled it everything started showing up just fine. Unrelated to this question but not finding a definite anwer elsewhere so I'll add it here. Does EasySocial, EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss all require the use of a CRON job for emailing or can/will it use the Joomla email system? Just curious as we haven't been able to get anything emailed yet. Thanks!

Brad

Hello Brad,

I think there's some confusions here. The cronjob still relies on the Joomla e-mail system just that these "emails" are added to the queue and waiting for the cronjob to trigger the system to send e-mails. You can learn more about the necessity using cronjobs here, http://docs.stackideas.com/administrators/cronjobs/cronjobs
