When posting a new question via Web people are informed via email - this is working fine.
When answering this email the answer is posted on the web and all people are informed via email. This is working fine as well.

But: When posting a new question via eMail - no one is informed via email. Only the article shows up correctly. I did not see any setting for this...

How can this be resolved?

BTW: We are now using IMAP for Parsing the emails.

Hi Anna,

Your can try to check your settings at settings-> General-> email parse and try to do test connection

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hello Jasni,

the email parsing functionality is working correctly. A question posted via mail is parsed and released, but there is no notification mail about the new question. If the question is released in the frontend the notification mail is send.
We have installed the Joomla in our intranet , so there is no chance for us to provide you access to this side.

May i know what is your current Easydiscuss version? If you are using the latest version 3.2.9744 , can you try download my attached file and replace into Joomlafolder\components\com_easydiscuss\classes\mailqueue.php and see how it goes?

Hi, thanks for your reply!

I exchanged the files - but still no Info mails are sent, when a new question is posted by sending an email to our account. Behaviour seems to be the same.
We are using EasyDiscuss Version: 3.2.9744

Any other hints?

We want the users to be informed, that have a subscription for new articles.
Again: If an article is posted using the Webfrontend an email notification is sent to the subscribing users.
If an article is posted using the mail parser - no email notifications are sent to the subscribing users.
If an answer to an article is posted using the mail parser, email notifications are sent.

So the only missing thing is, mail notifications to subscribing users, when a new article is posted via email parser.
