Honestly i think that this is very important. Often i don't notice new version of your component and i upgrade it later.

When you access the back end of EasyBlog, you will see the outdated notice. We plan to introduce a back end module that displays the stats.

We can't rely on Joomla's "updater" because it is not flexible enough.

Yes i know. But it is very different respect Joomla notification. You have to go to the dashboard of the component.

We will see what we can do in the future to place a module on Joomla's back end
