Why force uppercase?

Hello,

I am wondering why you are forcing uppercase for the first letter of names / pages / groups / ...?

In my case I need lowercase for the first letters because registered trademark is lowercase but your system forces uppercase
Can't we just leave the rendering of the letters liked they are typed in?

Where do you see them? As far as I recall, we don't force any uppercase on the title of these items

Hi Mark,
Sorry my bad, Iwas thinking about other issues and made a mistake, this is for user names only.

Go to ES edit profile and try to enter First name in lowercase the first letter will always render in uppercase.
Because of trademarks I need this first letter to be lowercase...

Here's a temporary fix. Upload it into /administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/user/
