Hi.
I've recently updated to the latest Easyblog version (just last week) but on my joomla CMS I'm still seeing 'requires updating' on the easyblog dashboard. Why is this?

I'm also unable to renew my facebook token. Nothing happens when I click 'renew token'.

Any help appreciated. I've included login details to my CMS.

Many thanks.

Geoff
Hello Geoff,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? You may store your site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so you don't have to provide these information all the time

Also, please include your Facebook login credentials so that we can help you troubleshoot the renewals of your Facebook token.

Hello Geoff,

Thanks for updating us on this. I am able to login now. Can I perform a re-install of EasyBlog on your site? Your data will remain intact but if you have modified the core files of EasyBlog, those files could get overwritten.

Hi Mark.

My web guy has installed it so I've no idea whether he's modified anything - I wouldn't have thought so. Providing it won't lose data and will still show up well on the site, go ahead and re-install.

Thanks.

Thanks Geoff, I have updated the site for you and it is working correctly now as it no longer requests you to update your site. As for your Facebook issue, could you please provide me with the answer for this question? http://take.ms/0hzGp

I already help you renew that Facebook token from your backend, what you need to do is click on 'Revoke access' button then after it refreshed the page, then click `sign in via Facebook`, it will automatically renew the token.

By the way, that renew token button will not function anything, we will remove this in the future.

Thanks Arles - looks like you've done everything that needed doing as it's now saying that facebook token is fine and only due for renewal in a year's time.
Thanks again for all your help.
