Why can any user edit another users posts?

For some reason in my discussion board every user is able to edit every other users replies? why is this.

Also one more question why is the creator of a question the only person who is able to comment, can we not set it that any user is able to comment on posts?
Hey Michael,

I've help you configured from your backend > Easydiscuss > ACL > all of your site user have permission only edit their own reply and add comment now, can you give it a try now?
