Hey Eric,

It seems like I still unable to replicate this even i open both browser on my laptop (chrome and Opera browser).

Maybe you can try this way :

1. If you facing this issue, try enable error reporting to maximum from backend http://take.ms/u2fpf

2. Open your browser development console tool, you will see this ajax request when you press reply button. http://take.ms/KpSmf

3. Then click inside this ajax request, and double check whether this ajax call namespace is called 'site/controllers/conversations/reply' http://take.ms/aN7CN

4. If yes, then click on that `response` tab, it might be show the error message. http://take.ms/Efpjow

Keep us update regarding this.

I come back to you because I always encounter problems of use of the messaging.
After some exchanges, it is no longer possible to send replies in a discussion, a white and empty popup appears in the middle of the screen.

As I say in this message, this happens after 2 or 3 message exchanges.

I've just tried to submit a test message from your user account, it seems work fine for me. http://take.ms/om1I3

What i can think of is one of the 3rd party plugin messed up this, if you still hitting this issue, can you try temporary rename this folder name from your FTP server?

JoomlaFolder/plugins/system/cometchat

Then refresh the page and try add new reply on the Easysocial conversation page.

If the issue still persists, can you try my troubleshoot method here and see how it goes?

Thanks for your help.
Effectively it works well during the first two or three exchanges of messages with the interlocutor, the failure appears after two or three exchanges in the conversation.

To reproduce the problem we would have to engage in a discussion in the messaging site.
We can schedule an appointment, make this conversation a few seconds, the time to exchange 2 or 3 messages.

You're welcome Eric, i just tried open 2 browsers and login with different user account it seems fine but i am not sure whether this is the correct way to replicate this issue or not.

Perhaps we can test this on tomorrow morning or afternoon, so I will login as arlexwong user test account on your site.

Thanks Eric,

I found the issue, it seems like this issue coming from CometChat extension instead of Easysocial.

Because when the user add a new message in Easysocial, this CometChat extension will get trigger it and store that message content into their database CometChat table.

As long as your message content contain those single quote ( ' ) then you will hit that pop up issue.

Because something is not right from their SQL query the way they store the message in their table.

I already applied some temporary fix into your site under this file JoomlaFolder/plugins/system/cometchat/cometchat.php , you can check my attached screenshot below.

It should work fine now.

By the way, it would be best if you can report this issue to CometChat developer regarding this.
