Hello Mikhail,

You just need to create a menu item and link it to the front page blog layout of EasyBlog. If you still can't see it, please edit your first post above and include the site access. We'll help you create it.

When you installed EasyBlog, it should create this for you unless you are using a different menu than the default menu.

I had cjblog installed previously I think its causing a problem
I created a Menu called Blog1 and set the easyblog frontpage as the target.
I since uninstalled cjblog but when I try to rename my menu blog1 to blog it says its still connected to cjblog checked the trash and the like but still not success.

Could you edit your post above and include your site access under the site details section so that I can verify your setup for you?

you got to be kidding me post my site access!

https://dev.techniciansonsite.com.au/blog1/entry/blog-easyblog-installed-successfully

seems to put this extra /entry/ found it using the search function of my site.

Still get this error when trying to rename blog1 menu to blog
Error

Save failed with the following error: The alias blog is already being used by CjBlog menu item in the menu (remember it may be a trashed item).

Also going to site/blog ends with a 404 error.

From what I could see here, it seems like there is an issue with your menu item because clicking on the "Blog1" menu item, it links to https://dev.techniciansonsite.com.au/blog which displays a "Component not found". As you mentioned, this menu was from CJBlog.

What you'll need to do is to change that menu type for the "Blog1" menu and point it to EasyBlog's frontpage layout. If that is already done, try renaming the menu alias to blog1. Perhaps the menu item has a conflicting menu alias.

The /entry/ portion is correct as this link would link to the entry view of a blog post (full article view)

By the way, when you include your site access, it is only accessible / viewable by our support team. The moment we are done inspecting, you could just remove that access

As long as you fill in your site details in the proper section (See my screen shot here, http://take.ms/4NYFU), these data are only visible by us.

Okay, it looks like the problem is not really with your setup but your MijoSEF url, http://take.ms/HiiXN . I have removed that invalid blog record and it links correctly now.

Do you really need MijoSEF? I would strongly suggest that you stick with the core sef that is provided by Joomla.

You are most welcome Mikhail Also, I notice there are a lot of red colored links within Mijosef, you might want to clear them too since they are referring to cjblog.
