On my old site I had the following four options in the ABOUT THE AUTHOR section below each blog post:

View author's profile More posts from author Follow author Message author

On my new site I have not found how to turn on the Follow author option.

Can you tell me where I can find that option. I want it on for all Authors.

I am assuming by choosing to Follow author the users would receive notifications by email and by notifications?

Thank you, Sean Carney
Hi Sean,
You should be able to see the follow and message author links once you are logged in(http://take.ms/qJRJV). This is because only logged in users can follow or message the author.

That is correct.

Interesting. I am logged in and not seeing the follow link. Also, I notice my links are too light in color. My guess is that is caused by my template. Sorry. I will try to fix that.

Here is a page I am looking at:

https://www.drcarney.com/blog/entry/does-insulin-make-you-fat

The text I am seeing is:
View author's profile More posts from author Message author

I am logged in.

Any insights will be appreciated.

Sean

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I've tried to logged as stackideas user account, i did see that follow link appear on the author info area, you can take a look of my attached screenshot below.

I suspect the reason why it didn't appear that follow link from your user account when you view this page https://www.drcarney.com/blog/entry/does-insulin-make-you-fat either you already followed that blogger or this post is created by your current logged in account?

Perhaps you can elaborate more details regarding this like which user account you trying to login so I can check this for you?
