I am being complained to because some people are having trouble finding the more recent discussions. Also, they want to have me display the datestamp for the replies. I suspect there is a setting for this that I am somehow missing? Can you point me to it?

Hi there,

I have applied some fixes on this path .../templates/buildr/html/com_easydiscuss/posts/item.php and it should shown you date instead of timelapse. Please give it a check and see how it goes

Thank you very much. Was this custom code that could disappear in the future when I upgrade?

I like the idea and it is helpful although the formatting is quite 'technical' looking at it displays as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS. :-)

Thanks for doing that. In the future it might be nice to have options on how to display it in a more reader friendly way. But, for now, I am grateful. :-)

Hi Sean,

Thank you very much. Was this custom code that could disappear in the future when I upgrade?

I have placed it on your template override and it will used those changes made on future version.

Thanks for doing that. In the future it might be nice to have options on how to display it in a more reader friendly way. But, for now, I am grateful. :-)

It would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request", so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.

By the way, you are most welcome. Glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now.

As a gentle reminder, kindly start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiry. I will lock and mark this thread as resolved.
