Hi
I'm updating the BLOG in the new version of Joomla/EasyBlog.

I cannot find the RSS link as I have insert in the precedent version

Where is it?
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

In Easyblog 5, the RSS link will appear on the toolbar, you can take a look of my attached screenshot below.

Hi
First of all in the homepage I visualize the showcase module with featured articles as I did for the precedent version where there were 2 links: subscription to blog and RSS
I want it appears as the precedent version , how can do it?

Also if i click on an article blog, I expect to see the link on the toolbar as you showed in your image, but it is different on my side (see the attache file) and also there is any RSS link, how can I do it in the same way you show me?

Unfortunately, there is no setting to revert back to that look.

For the RSS link, make sure your backend setting Settings>General>RSS Feeds>Enable RSS Feeds is enabled, also make sure the ACL of the user group permits them to subscribe via RSS.
For the toolbar layout, can you try disable this option and see if it works?http://take.ms/fdB4T
If not, try switching to our default protostar template and see if it works. Hope this helps.

Hi
for my first request, please look at my old post: http://stackideas.com/forums/add-rss-subcription-link-in-the-home-page
Why I cannot do the same?

Also I checked: RSS link is enabled and ACL of the user group permits them to subscribe via RSS (as default)

I have disabled responsive layout and even if the navigation bar is changed I cannot see RSS link.

Enclosed you can see the aspect if toolbar in my template and Protostar template (it is the same)

Unfortunately that was not possible to do the same thing as what you requested customisation in your old post is because in Easyblog 5 already revamp all the HTML code structure so you are not able to replace the same file location.

I have no ideas why the RSS icon didn't appear on your local site since we unable to access in your site to investigate on this.

By the way, can you try download my attached file below and replace into this file location and see how it goes?
JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\themes\wireframe\toolbar\default.php

Hi
I have copied your file and even if it seems exactly the same of mine, now I can see RSS link on the toolbar.

It is very strange.

Also comparing to your toolbar, I cannot see all the buttons but maybe it is some configuration settings (see the image)

Hi Giulia,
Yes you are correct, there isn't a lot of buttons showing because of the layout configuration involved.
You can locate those settings in Settings>Layout>Toolbar to configure the toolbar layout. Hope this helps.
