Where does the Vanilla Submenu get its links from?

I want to be able to choose what links appear in the Vanilla submenu (see Submenu.png attached). Where does it get its links from? I note that the module has an option to select a menu (see Submenu-Module.png attached). However, the submenu depicted in Submenu.png seems to be getting its links from somewhere else.

I have removed the links you mentioned in the file I attached below. You can download and place this in the file location:
JoomlaFolder/template/YourCurrentTemplate/html/mod_vanilla_submenu/default.php

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for us here.

This setting "Select Menu" it only affect on non-EasySocial/EasyBlog/EasyDiscuss pages. In other word, when the user view on Easysocial page, it will only render Easysocial link menu, when user view on non-Easysocial pages, it will only render those menu as what you selected from this setting "Select Menu".

Thanks Alex So how do I edit the EasySocial/EasyBlog/EasyDiscuss menus? I do not know where to find them.

Actually all those Easysocial menu link already hardcoded in this module file JoomlaFolder/modules/mod_vanilla_submenu/tmpl/default.php

Hi Arlex

I created a template override for mod_vanilla_submenu. However, after examining the code I am unsure how to edit it.

I am hoping to remove the following links from the EasySocial sub-menu:

Friends
Followers
Photos
People

Would it be possible for you to send me an edited file that I can place in overrides?
