I just purchased and installed easyblog. Where do I enter the API key?
Another question, the blog page doesn't load on my site. The server times out during an outgoing connection to this IP address: 74.125.201.141. Is this a verification check? (the IP is owned by Google according to arin.net/whois)
Hello Ari,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Thanks for purchased our product
Actually the API key you can enter from your backend > Easyblog > updater for update to latest version.
Can I have your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this issues? Please advise.
You can put the information in the optional information field below. Don't worry about privacy. Only Support team can view the information.

Hello Ari,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have tried to access in Joomla backend, it seems like you provided that login credential is not working.
Warning

Can you call me? I only have a phone with me here (no computer until I get home) and this is getting a bit tedious. See number below

I have just successfully logged into the backend of the site with this user name (not email address: without @...) and password. I have also logged into ftp using the username (full email address with @...) and same password. Both were from a cell phone. It works as originally provided

Hello Ari,

Great I can access in your site now.
Hm, that was strange, because when i trying to change to Joomla default template then the Easyblog page is showing out, did you consult regarding this with your template provider and see how it goes? If your template provider have give you some response, keep us updated then.

I'll ask them about it, but part of why I got EasyBlog is that it said it was compatible with my Joomla template, Purity III. I got this information from your website, here: http://stackideas.com/blog/joomla-free-template-purity-iii-compatible-with-easyblog-easysocial-and-easydiscuss
The template works fine for the rest of the site, just not the EasyBlog page

Again, can you please remove my site's URL from the publicly visible text? Also, would you consider deleting the posts 3-11 from this thread as unnecessary?
The Joomla member profile page is disabled due to using Community Browser and so should not load. The referenced category blog page works fine.

I may have found a way to make the EasyBlog page work -- there is an EasyBlog style in the Purity III template settings that can be applied to the page. Once I did this, the page seemed to work. It can be found in Joomla backend --> Extensions --> Template Manager --> Purity III --> Add-Ons. From there, assign the page where your EasyBlog lives to the EasyBlog category and save the setting.
If there are further problems, I will post. Thank you for your work on this.

Hello Ari,

Just to reconfirm your request here, do you want us to delete this thread?

Can you just delete posts 3-11 (the ones where the tech had difficulty logging in to the site)? Keeping the posts about EasyBlog and Purity III could be helpful to another user.
