When I am logged out, if I click on the Connect menu created by EasySocial, I get the following page - http://screencast.com/t/qa561fWPfYQj - Clicking on the username Jiminimonka results in a blank page.
Thanks for the heads up on this Joe, we'll fix this internally. At the mean time, download the attached file and upload it into /media/com_easysocial/apps/user/kunena/

Hello Joe,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hi Joe,

Tanks for the ftp account. I managed to connect to your server but the ftp account you provided do not have write permission on the files. Can you give write permission to the ftp account so that I can modify your EasySocial files for debugging purposes?

Also, can you pass me your Joomla backend admin access so that I can enable the error reporting from your Joomla?
Please advise.

The FTP account is my FTP account with full access - the /var/www/gorinnosho.com is the directory Joomla is installed in, and the Markstack account is a super user account. I have fixed permissions for the directories in Putty, so give it another try please. I also had a block on /administrator, which is now turned off.

Fixed it myself. I changed privacy setting that blocked the page to un-registered users. When I reset the privacy settings, it works as intended. Thanks.

EDIT:
Nope, didn't fix it. Logged out users still get the blank white page with the same message.

HI Joe,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as today is a sunday for us here

Regarding your issue with the blank page, look like the issue was caused by the kunena app in EasySocial. I've added a fix on your kunena app and can you give it a try again? Below is the file I've modified:

JOOMLA/media/com_easysocial/apps/user/kunena/kunena.php

PS: The ftp still don't allow me to modify the files. I've installed a file manager in your Joomla to edit the file

Hope this help and have a nice day

Hi,

As far as I can tell, this issue is gone, however now Kunena was rendering correctly inside EasySocial, but now it is showing bbcode etc.,

Hoping this gets updated so that Kunena posts come out perfectly within EasySocial in future.

Thanks

P.S. Thanks for the file manager, not sure why the ftp details were not working for you, they are the "master" ones.

Hello Joe,

Just tried this on your site but it doesn't seems to work I guess you will need to edit the user plugin "User - Joomla" , and save the plugin and then reset the password because of the Joomla 3.2.0 bug

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks, that is working fine. Not sure if this is related or not, but when quoting someone in Kunena, the output in the stream has "COM_KUNENA_POST_WROTE:" added instead of Quote "username"

http://screencast.com/t/gz2VK3seTWcI

Output should be more like

Rob wrote: "Tapatalk working again!"

Working for you, but I cant login to Tapatalka lol
