when search is disabled from toolbar, ask a question button doesn't appear

Hello,

I just noticed that when i disabled the search box, it took away the ask button box as well. im using simlisitic button

This is actually the standard behavior of EasyDiscuss as the Ask question button is integrated with the search bar. If you want to disable the search bar, you should use the ask a question module to display the button to submit a new question.

Hi Mark,

any reason why the post discussion option has not been added to the "Welcome" module like easyblog? i think it would be great if its added there to have a consistent design
