I am trying to add pictures in my blog but when ever i add them they are full size and when i make the picture smaller it still makes it large but the quality is bad.
Hello Sean,

The theme that you are currently using stretches the blog image to a width of 100%, that is why the image looks bad but this is the theme's style as we want to create an area with a large image. If you don't want this, you should use a different theme

Hello Sean,

Hm, not sure if I am understanding you here. Are you referring to the blog image that appears on the blog frontpage? If so, this is actually the behavior of the vintage theme. If you use the default theme, it doesn't stretch the image.

Hello Sean,

Sorry for the late reply. I tried logging in to check your issue but I can't because I get this error

>> Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Please send me the correct backend login. Also you might want to check the backend settings in backend -> EasyBlog -> Themes -> Blog Image under the entry field. Please remember to save your settings and then click on "Clean Images" for the settings to take effect. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hello Sean,

Sorry for the late reply. The issue is caused by your template setting this CSS standard
img {
min-width: 100%;
max-width: 100%;
height: auto;
vertical-align: middle;
border: 0;
-ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic;
}

Please add the following fix in your template's custom CSS file,
#ezblog-body .blog-text img, #ezblog-body .blog-content img {
min-width: 0;
}

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Hello Sean,

I have added the codes above for you in the file /templates/ghgs/css/template.css . In the future, if you want us to perform file updates, please consider providing us with the FTP access.

Hello Sean,

I have added a fix in the file /templates/ghgs/css/editor.css by changing the codes below:

img {
min-width: 100%;
max-width: 100%;
height: auto;
vertical-align: middle;
border: 0;
-ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic;
}

To,

img {
max-width: 100%;
height: auto;
vertical-align: middle;
border: 0;
-ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic;
}

The image is now appearing correctly on the editor as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/6JLNo5sB44H

Hello Sean,

You might want to clear your browser cache and see how it goes. I've tried to attach image and seems it is working fine: http://screencast.com/t/oSWtPBf7x4 .
