I created a blog using EasyBlog but in EasySocial the news feed shows "...started a new discussion"
Hi Itamar,

May I know which blog post you are referring to?

Currently I'm seeing these 3 posts on the site(http://take.ms/gBwjv), but I couldn't find any discussion stream items referring to these posts.

Hey Itamar,

Alright. It looks like this plugin is creating the blog post in EasyDiscuss too(http://take.ms/Uz3r0).

You can either disable the plugin or remove EasyBlog from the component list.

Okay thanks for that, but then it looks like when I posted the new Blog entry, the only thing that appeared in the stream was created by this plugin, so how would I set it to show in the EasySocial stream when a new blog is posted? (I tried looking at your documentation around this but alas, like most of what you have under documentation, it's all out of date :-( https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/integrations/integrating-with-easySocial )

Hey Itamar,

It appears the user blog is unpublished in your test site. This is why the blog stream items are not showing in EasySocial stream(http://take.ms/Awvyc).

Thanks - we turned that off as it made a Blog item appear in the story box and that wasn't a proper EasyBlog blog it started creating, but I see you can turn that off now (I don't think you could on our previous version but perhaps I just missed it?!)

I have another question relating to this but feel it's a new topic so will mark this as answered and start a fresh.

Alright Itamar. The setting has been there for a while actually.

Anyway, thanks for updating us on the issue.

Regards.
