when I made the update Easysocial, the left column was deleted. how to find my modules? they disappeared from the administration area (see picture "module.jpg")

when I put a module on the left then the layout is not very beautiful. Normally the modules live under the black bar (the black bar overflows on the left column). how to restore this layout?

the menu bar is normally stretched and overflows on the left column. the modules are placed in the left column but under the black bar (see picture "23-01-2019 11-36-13.png")
Hello,

That es-dashboard-aside position should not be rendered in mobile. I checked this file ../components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/dashboard/default/default.php in your site and found that it has been modified. You may want to replace it with the original file (attached below).

Hey,

Hm, I am not really sure how is it possible that the toolbar overflows over to the left because when I check your site, the template is wrapping the extension in a 12 column layout with the contents on the center as you can see here, http://take.ms/6h7jq

Am I missing anything here?

I do not understand why the template to change because it does not work like this before the update: I just put an old screen print (attachment) of the site before the update.

You will see that the black menu bar overflowed well in the left column and the modules in the left position were well under the black bar.

Another problem: if you take again the image "23-01-2019 11-36-13.png" you will be able to note that the menu is cut (all the links do not appear).

For me the update has made a modification on the template (weird): it has reduced the width of the central position and can be increased the width of the left column.

I also do not understand why all the modules in the left column were deleted (I did not remove the modules, this is done alone)

Hey Verclytte,

Let me try to explain this in a point form so that it is easier for you to understand:

1. In EasySocial 3.0, there is no longer a sidebar on the dashboard. Filters are now changed to http://take.ms/muxfs

2. If you still want to place modules on the sidebar, you can place it in es-dashboard-aside

3. In your old screen shot, the site's theme is on "Elegant" theme but it seems like you are using the "Wireframe" theme instead.

4. I am not sure what do you mean by flow to the left because in your Joomla template, it seems to be enforcing a fix width, http://take.ms/88ZeV

I think we do not understand each other.

I invite you to go on this page of the site and you will notice that the column of left is well below the sidebar :
Titlehttps://www.cgpigroup.fr/pages.html or https://www.cgpigroup.fr/ev%C3%A9nements.html or https://www.cgpigroup.fr/videos.html

you did not answer me or took into account some of my remarks: why my modules in left position have disappeared and been deleted ??? it's totally incomprehensible

I also just noticed that my home page to change url is totally incomprehensible!
before: http://www.cgpigroup.fr
Now: https://www.cgpigroup.fr/toutlemonde.html

very sincerely in view of the problem encountered on the homepage, it is obvious that the last update caused these problems:
- module deleted!
- change of the URL!
- sidebar with not normal behavior

I urge you to watch where the problems come from!

1. In EasySocial 3.0, there is no longer a sidebar on the dashboard. Filters are now changed to http://take.ms/muxfs

the problem is that I had other modules than the one you quote

2. If you still want to place modules on the sidebar, you can place it in es-dashboard-aside

no I do not want to place a module in the sidebar bar but in a column on the left!

3. In your old screen shot, the site's theme is on "Elegant" theme but it seems like you are using the "Wireframe" theme instead.

ok for the theme but with the current theme I had the same thing.

4. I am not sure what do you mean by flow to the left because in your Joomla template, it seems to be enforcing a fix width, http://take.ms/88ZeV

I do not understand but what is sure is that the update has made changes for the homepage until changing the URL and put a redirect. It's really incredible.
You should take the problem very seriously, it is serious to change the URL of a website.

Hello Verclytte,

the problem is that I had other modules than the one you quote
- You might want to place your other modules in es-dashboard-aside position. This new position has been introduced in ES3 to replace the previous sidebar. This is the example I made on my site http://take.ms/gzcE3 . Please give it a try.

no I do not want to place a module in the sidebar bar but in a column on the left!
- If you place your module on left position, the black menu bar won't overflow like you want to. Because the menu bar only cover the extension layout in the template. Your left position is out of that layout.

update has made changes for the homepage until changing the URL and put a redirect.
- I am sorry but it is actually because of the initial filter that has been selected here: http://take.ms/miwaG . The default filter for dashboard is User & Friends. If you choose other than the default filter, Easysocial will try to load the chosen filter and at the same time will update the URL to show to users that they are viewing that filter. This happens because in Easysocial 3, we have changed the way we load the dashboard.

I do see this as a bug if Easysocial is set to be a homepage of a site. Like your case, it added filter to the Home URL. I will log this issue in our tracker and will get the fixed in the next release. Mean while, you might want to temporary change it to User & Friends filter so that it won't change your home URL.

2. If you still want to place modules on the sidebar, you can place it in es-dashboard-aside

when I visit the site on a mobile phone I see the es-dashboard-aside position first before the news feed.

With the previous version of easysocial the column was hidden.

is it possible to have the news feed first and the modules in position after or as before with a menu bar that makes it appear?

Thanks
