I had discussed this issue a long time ago in a different forum post about how the very first event being tracked in our Email Activity log of EasySocial is when the person unlocks the badge Newbie. I was thinking that there should be a previous message logged when they sign up for the account. Maybe that message is the first message when a person signs up for an account?

I mentioned to our host that the email server might not be configured correctly because the first message when a user applies for an account is not being logged in EasySocial. They want to confirm that it is not working because they state their mail server is doing everything correctly. They said they could add to the cronjob so that EVERY event that is mailed to me would end up in the EasySocial logs but that does not seem like the correct solution.

So, they are asking me to get the information from you about exactly how this should be working.

Hello Sean,

When a person registers on your site, the email would be dispatched immediately without going through the mail pool. In other words, they would not be logged in the system. It does not make sense if a user registers on the site but the email doesn't get sent to them until the cron job kicks in.
