EasyDiscuss 3.0.6526 Alpha introduced the "Roles system" but I'm sorry, I don't understand what it really does

Can someone explain what's the usage for this? I tried adding a new role and associating it with super users. The only difference I see is in the Profile of that user, nothing in the questions or comments section...

Also, the documentation should be improved to avoid questions like this one Or some sort of Wiki should be created.
How do you associate a user with a role?

When you create a new role in EasyDiscuss, you can specify the user group for the role.

Hi there,

Roles are used to differentiate each user on your site actually, as to be more organized.

For example, i have create a role for normal user(Registered) user, as shown http://take.ms/LJt6b this label(Role) will be shown on listings and on each reply you made on the post as you can see here http://take.ms/ag0hM and http://take.ms/niIUk

It is more organize-able as this will alert/display to your site whose is currently responded on your site or more efficient as for example on our site, those label(http://take.ms/PpTPr) are shown that we are from Stackideas staff and any answer provided is valid based on the situations.

By the way, in case you have other issues, it is more appropriate for you to create a new thread as it will make us easier to organize and you will get much faster response in order to solve them.

Please advice.
