As the title.

1. Do you have to uninstall RC5

2. Do you have to run the SQL statement that you run between betas/release candidates?

3. DO the SQL tables from RC5 need to be dropped, or can they remain in place?

4. What installation method do you recommend?

Thanks!

1. Do you have to uninstall RC5 - I didn't uninstall and it works fine after installing v1.2.1

2. Do you have to run the SQL statement that you run between betas/release candidates? - NO, you do not have to run the SQL statement again. just install v1.2.1

3. DO the SQL tables from RC5 need to be dropped, or can they remain in place? - NO - leave RC 5 the way it is, and just install v1.2.1 the regular Install method.

4. What installation method do you recommend? - Just download v1.2.1 and install the regular method. I installed v1.2.1 after testing RC5 and I installed it and everything works fine.

Thanks!

Hope this helps

The best way, if you dont have any user, content, customisation etc. uninstall rc5 also dropp all ex easysocial sql tables. Always clear installation is the best,

if no just execute the sql query and keep going on...

Hey thanks Gökhan, yes, this is a "virgin" site, so I think I will uninstall and drop the tables (just to be on the safe side).

Upgrading from ES 1.2 RC5 to ES 1.2.1 worked just fine for me. My test site seems to be running just fine. Upgrading from ES 1.1.6 to 1.2.1 also worked out fine too.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing guys.

We've made sure that no process is needed to install the latest 1.2 stable (hence 1.2.1).
