Hello

Some months ago, I posted a ticket to solve some problems I was facing with the composer. While they got fixed, I also remember someone from Stackideas telling me that the composer didn't hit the mark, was probably released too early, and as a result, you could remove/disable it on the next major version of Easyblog.

After looking at all the changelogs, I finally saw that all the problem making me avoiding it are finally solved. Though I'd like to know what's the plan at the moment, because I wouldn't teach authors from my blog how to use it if it's going to be disabled

So, is there anything you can tell me about it? Is the next major version going to focus on the features asked on the voices page, or do you plan to improve the composer? Any risk it will be removed/disabled?

Also sorry for posting it here, I didn't know where to post it, since there isn't a categorie for general questions :/

Thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate using Easyblog every days
Hey there,

Based on what I know is our developer will start work on Easyblog 5.1 after release stable version of Easysocial 2.0.

The Build-in composer will not be disable it because some of our customer already use to it, but we will implement back the old style creation page into 5.1, so those user do not like the build-in composer, they can choose to use old style creation page but the layout will be different a little bit than EB 3.x.

So are we saying that the normal 'new' composer is being phased out ?

Hey Calvin,

Currently our team haven't make any decision yet because our developer still focus on Easysocial 2.0 and base on what I know is our customer already used build-in composer as their default editor from their site, we will probably survey with our customer and see what is the feedback regarding this.
