What is the purpose of the Apps section of the EasySocial Profile Type?

When we set up an app under applications, we can select if it is a default app (or not) as well as which profile types can access the app.
However, under the profile type setup, there is another section entitled apps, where the description says that we can "select the list of apps below that should be enabled for the user's in this profile by default".

How does this work? It seems to do nothing whether selected or not, since all the settings in the Application section seem to take preference.

For example, if we set the Albums app under Applications as "Default" and available to the selected profile type, the albums app will appear on the user profile regardless of what settings are chosen in the Profile Type App settings.
So what do these "Profile Type App" settings actually do?
Hey there,

As long as you set those for an example a,b, and c apps as default in EasySocial > Application, it will ignore them (the a,b,c apps that you set in the profile types).

Profile Types App is optional for you to make the apps that you want to default for this particular profile type only.

For your information, if you didn't set the apps as default, the users need to install it at Application Browser in order to use it. Take note that you need to create a '(Apps) Applications Browser Layout' menu item type in order to access the page.
