There are a lot of differences in terms of EasyBlog versus EasyArticles. EasyBlog is geared towards blogging and authoring and it has all the bells and whistle of a blogging system unlike EasyArticles which stores the posts under Joomla articles.

For instance, Joomla articles does not have views that renders posts created by authors on the site, hence it'll not be able to filter posts created by users.

Apart from that, as mentioned earlier the composer in EasyBlog is geared towards authoring blog posts as opposed to EasyArticles where you could use it to post recipe's or other items depending on the custom fields in Joomla articles
