Hi Andrew... Pin allows the admin of that page the ability to pin a stream item to the top of the stream... that is, make it 'sticky'. Good for a permanent, or temporary focus on a particular item.

Thanks - yes easy when you know! I really do feel strongly that the "pop up" help in the back end needs some thought especially as the documentation on the website is really hard to use and often doesn't even seem to list anything about some of the features. Any pop up help that just repeats what is already obvious is not help! I'm happy to go through all the back end sections and come up with useful help text if that would be of interest.
