Just testing a new site and I see that if I unpublish a category its items still show up in the Archive Module and also will show up on the (Posts) front-page menu option.
I would have expected that un-publishing a category did just that, it would render that category and all the posts in it not published on the site. What is meant to happen? Surly I do not have to go in and unpublish each post?
Using the latest 5.0.31 version on current Joomla build.
Hey Stephen,

When you unpublish a category, it doesn't unpublish blog posts in that category. It simply doesn't allow authors to contribute into that category any longer.

Initially in EasyBlog 1.x I believe, when you unpublish a category, all the blog post in that category are also unpublished by default and there were quite a number of complaints which we received from our customers for such behavior. Hence, we no longer unpublish blog posts when a site admin unpublish a category

Well it is one thing being customer driven but another to do things that break the normally excepted rules. You guys have decide what you want your product to do, but you might make the documentation a bit more informative.

Hey Stephen,

I greatly appreciate your input on this and we'll take note of this. I believe we are actually in a dilemma right now where we are the victim of our own success. We always listen to our customers and end up in such situations. We'll definitely review this process for the next update of EasyBlog and the rest of our products.
