I am using EasyBlog's showcase module in the upper right column at http://www.yourarlington.com/.

An item headline "Prof leaves audience awestruck" displays only as "Prof leaves audience," which suggests an event that did not occur.

See the full post at http://www.yourarlington.com/yourview/entry/prof-leaves-audience-awestruck

I have the module set to 500 display characters. Is there a way to force more of the headline display in a 300px-wode module?

Love your product!

Hello Bob,

Regarding with your case, i would like suggest you put your EasyBlog's showcase module to another position (see which position is available the width the size more than your current right position the result is more attraction )

Thanks for this suggestion. I know that that the headline will display in full in a wider position. In general, the 300px-wide position it's in now is where it usually is.

So the answer is there is no way to allow more headline -- yes?

Hello Bob,

If you would like to make the headline display more space as "Prof leaves audience awestruck", you can applied this CSS hack in your template css file

#mod_showcase h2.showcase-title {
max-height: inherit !important;
}

Please let us know if you need further assistance and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you apply the code in your file.
