Hi

Upon going on my website, it was originally fine, however something has changed and it now displays two messy login boxes on the login page, does anybody have any idea why and how I can fix it?

John
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

By the way is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? Please advice

Hi there,

May i know which login box you wanted them to be shown your site? It seems that you have enable this module http://take.ms/kNHSD(for the big one) and hard-coded login box(small one). You can check them accordingly. Please advice.

Hi there,

It is might be you have login module enabled on your site before and for our latest version, there are hard-coded login box on dashboard menu items. If you wanted to remove them, you can remove them here .../components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/helpers/html/login.php

If you required any help, please let us updated. Please advice.

Hi there,

If your wanted to remove those recent updates, you need to enable this settings http://take.ms/MHiaf. And it seems that you still using older version of Easysocial. Please advice.

Hi Warith,

Thanks for your help I have now rectified the issue, I have just seen that my updates do not appear to be working, supposedly its because my license has expired but I could of sworn its been less than 6 months, thanks for your help anyway my friend.

UPDATE - I've just checked and my plan expires on the 9th of march, why is it saying I cannot update?

Hi there,

It might be because you still using older version of EasySocial. Maybe you can head to your dashboard https://stackideas.com/dashboard and try to manually install them. It will fetched you the correct version for your Easysocial.

Please give it a try and see how it goes.

Hi Warith,

So download the full installer package, and upload the package onto the administrator site? it won't overwrite or destroy anything will it? because obviously what i'd be uploading would be the full pack?

Hi there,

It wont overwrite any of your files, unless you have made any changes on Easysocial cores files. And those files you made for template override, wont be overwritten. Only cores files will be affected and we have done full changes on the layout.

Maybe you can try to setup a staging site first and upgrade them there and see how it goes. Maybe you can check how it is first by doing this, so it wouldn't affect your live site.

Please advice.
