WebP images not uploading / Not allowed?

Hi there, I was going to run a test on a blog load using a webp image rather than our standard png. I thought easyblog allowed webp but it tells me it's not an available format.

Should I be using something else rather than an image type?

It seems that there is no webp included in the Allowed extensions of the Media setting.
