When you say ES 4.0, i believe you mean EasySocual 1.4.0 Currenty EasySocial 1.4 is still under beta testing stage and we do not have the exact date of EasySocial 1.4.0 stable version release yet

We still need more beta tester on EasySocial 1.4.0 so maybe if you can help, you can download the beta installer at http://stackideas.com/issues/easysocial

Just a reminder, do not install this beta release at your live site to avoid any damage to your live site.

Oh okay just wondering about how long does beta testing take

Usually 3-4 weeks. We started on August 28th and are now on beta 3. We might have two more betas followed by two RC releases before stable launch. I'm guessing a stable launch may come between September 24th - 29th. Keep in mind that this is by no means official, but I have watched the progress rate with past beta releases. The fix rate has been quite fast, so it certainly is possible to come a few days earlier. I personally favor stability over speed.
