Hello,

we installed easyblog on our Intranet, but if want to login in frontend (to access to the registered item), or if I want to log in the backend, we have this error message.

Warning: require_once(/var/www/intranet/components/com_easyblog/constants.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/intranet/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php on line 22 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/var/www/intranet/components/com_easyblog/constants.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/intranet/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php on line 22

If you have a idea to fix it ?

Thank you very much.

Regard.
Hi Dieudonne,

Can you try to rename easyblog folder into different name such as com_easyblog_bak and see if the error message will go away?
1) /administrator/components/com_easyblog
2) /components/com_easyblog

If yes, you can try to re-install the easyblog component via extension manager and then try again. If the issue still persist perhaps you can try to temporarily upload your site to a test server so that we can figure out what went wrong on your site.

Hope these help.

Hello dieudonne pierre.

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?

Looking forward for your reply

Euh no, sory, like I said it is a intranet.
So everything is local.

Maybe do you have a other solution ? We don't have nothing to save for EasyBlog, because we just install it.
And what is the minimum php version for EasyBlog ?

Regard.

Hi there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

By right easyblog 5 does not have the helper.php file as mentioned in the error message above. Since your easyblog is new and has nothing inside, you can safely remove your easyblog component by uninstalling it via extension manager and then re-install it again and see if that will fix the issue.

Hello,

yes but I also add this error message in the backend. So it is inaccessible.

So how can I do that ? Maybe in the phpmyadmin ?

Regard.
