Hi SI team

I have two types of Blog posts images on the front page layout of my Blog here:
http://finalbug.net/blog
The images that come from Blog Image module in the Blog Article Editor.
The images that come from Blog the Blog itself.
In the second case the images usually link to a video.

It worked fine on my old template after some help from the SI heroes.

Now I am on wanderers and loving it.

Please do the follow to understand what I am talking about.

Go here:

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/389-adobe-updates-cloud-numbers
Rollover over the images with a mouse watch for the cow.
Click an image to watch a video.
This is how things are supposed to work…

Now go here:

http://finalbug.net/blog

Ignore the first 3 Blog posts with the green car and look for e.g.:
Adobe Updates & Cloud Numbers
Watch for the cow and click nothing happens.
Try on other images below this post watch for cow click and I think you will have the same zero user experience!

Most of the fixes are probably in the Corsa Template and or in the EB Origami Theme, I guess but would not even know where to start! Arlex helped me last time round!

Can we please get this to work again?

thanks

Paul
Hi Paul,

Thank you for sharing your findings. My name is Justin and I am a member of Stack Idea's marketing team.

I've checked your licenses and you are currently holding an EasyBlog Community, EasySocial Starter and Komento Pro. Wanderers is suppose to be only available to our EasySocial Pro/Unlimited, EasyBlog Pro/Unlimited and EasyDiscuss Pro/Unlimited users. I've investigate this issue further and it appears that there's some sort of an issue with our Wanderers's banner on the dashboard.

Having said that, we won't be able to provide you with any Wanderers support as you do no hold the licenses required to obtain Wanderers. However, seeing that this is partly our mistake, you can still keep Wanderers and use it as it is rightfully yours. What I truly suggest is for you to at least upgrade your EasySocial Starter to EasySocial Pro. With the renewal price of $10, you can get the benefit of EasySocial Pro plus, you will support us so that we can build a much more better component (or templates!).

I hope this clears it up. Let me know if there's anything more that I can assist you with. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Hi Justin

Yeah I know that it sounds lame. I downloaded it by mistake. Do you have a link for me?
"With the renewal price of $10, you can get the benefit of EasySocial Pro"
Most of my licenses are pretty up to date and run for about a year...

best

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your response. I'm sorry but I'm a bit lost here, what link are you requesting for?

As for the license, one of the major benefit of having the Pro license are accesses to 3 Professional theme for EasySocial and removal of the 'Powered by EasySocial' linkback. Upgrading will also entitles you to access on Wanderers. All these for a mere $10.

You can upgrade your license via your dashboard. Let me know if you need any further assistance on upgrading.

Done. You guys can start figuring out how to answer my questions now
What I am unclear about with respect to the license...
I paid for it but do I now need to download a Pro version of ES Pro or how does this work?
If I re download and install Version 1.3.4 on top of Version 1.3.4 is it now pro?

Hi Mark, I did the 10$ upgrade as requested by Justin
Do I have to upgrade again now?
What if I do not use Easy Discuss as of now!?!
Would it help if I upgrade to EB Pro as well?
That would be a total of 30€ which is pretty much what a template would cost any way! For EB Pro and ES Pro.
This is all a little frustrating the last thing I want is to be in a template limbo again...
My budget is really tight as of now but as you know I am paid up in advance for every thing that I have going through to aprox May 2015.

Sigh...

Hello Paul,

No, you don't have to upgrade anything now if you already have upgraded I am just replying to your thread earlier that you were unable to access the templates because you were running on the Starter package of EasySocial. If you are already on EasySocial Pro, you should be able to access the template for FREE and there is no other charges incurred

Hi Marc

OK that is good news. Yes I upgraded to ES Pro about 6 hours ago. So I guess that I am out of my grey area. Phew. Sorry for any confusion from my side. I have about 3 issues that I would love to get on top of. They are the same 3 issues that I have every time that I change template. I am hoping that from here on in that will not be happening anytime soon again as I will stick with Wanderers.

thanks

Paul

Hello Paul,

EasyBlog is being overriden by Wanderer's template and this is probably why the hacks earlier doesn't work because those hacks was probably being done on the theme files (I am not really sure which hacks was performed).

I am really sorry but unfortunately we would not be able to provide customizations for this in the Wanderers template.
