Votes counting

Hi,

Everywhere where votes number is shown (discussion board, beckend, Recent Discussions module etc.) it shows votes for a question, not a summary votes (question votes + answer votes). Is that correct behavior?

The reason I ask is that in case of Recent Discussions module t has an option "show total votes" and is described in a popup bubble (backend) as it should show votes for whole discussion.

Yes,the show total votes option in EasyDiscuss Recent Discussions module will shows votes on question and skip the votes on answers .

Yes, that was default behaviour.

The each total vote count is collect all the vote from the discussion post.

Hi Arlex,

I dont't know if I have good understanding. Does it mean, that Recent Discussions module that I've mentioned, should summarize votes from questions and answers? If yes, my doesn't.

Oh, I am sorry for the confusing in earlier

By default it will not summarize votes from question and answer, the system will get all the vote from the discussion. (question vote + answer vote)

No problem

So if my module has enabled option to summarize "show total votes" it should summarize but it only shows votes on question skipping votes on answers.
