I'd like to use the vimeo embed code that vimeo provides. It's an iframe and comes with the size and description. I've tried to toggle to editor off and the video doesn't show up. Typically with Joomla you'd have to disable the WYSIWYG editor but I don't know where to do that in Easyblog. I've noticed there isn't a block for vimeo either. So, what are my options? Ideally, I'd just like to paste the code and be done.
Hey William,

You can choose "No Editor" from the settings of EasyBlog under Settings > General > Composer EasyBlog doesn't read from your Global Configuration as it has it's own settings.

Hey William,

Which version of EasyBlog do you use on the site? The only way to achieve this is to configure TINYMCE to not strip these codes. Are they working fine with normal Joomla articles? If they do, it will work fine on EasyBlog as well since the same TINYMCE editor is being rendered.

If it works on Joomla and doesn't work on EasyBlog, please provide us with the back end and FTP access to the site so that I can check this out for you

I'm running Joomla 3.4.3 and Easyblog 5.0.16.

When TINYMCE is active it does not work in regular articles. It strips out the video. Typically, I turn off TINYMCE from Global Configuration and paste the code in and it works fine. In Easyblog, even if you turn off TINYMCE from Global Configuration it still shows up when you create a post and strips out the video even if you toggle off the editor from the Easyblog interface. Yes, TiNYMCE does seem to be stripping the code when active. How do you disable it in Easyblog? Or, how can you override this behavior?
