I have upgraded to the latest easyblog and used the viewhtml.php that you sent me in 2016 to direct users to the log in page if it was a user only post.
However the latest version of easyblog is only telling them the post cant be found when they click to vew the post.
Do you have a modified viewhtml.php to redirect them to log in to view the post

I believe you have update to the EasyBlog 5.1.12?
Can you replace the new attached file below and replace it in the same path:
.../components/com_easyblog/views/entry/view.html.php

You're suggested to backup the file that you want to replace beforehand for precaution

I have downloaded the file and replaced the view.html.php in the location as expected. However it does not take the user to the log in page all it says is
"Sorry but we couldn't find the blog entry that you are looking for "
I need the file view.html.php to direct the user to the log in fields if they are not already logged on as the previous file sent in 2016 did.

Hey Steve,

Could you try this file instead? Download the attached file and upload it into /components/com_easyblog/views/entry/

If it still doesn't work, could you please provide us with the back end and FTP access and also provide us with the steps to replicate this so that I can check on the site?

Hey Steve,

I think my colleague might have added the fix on a different block of codes and it was redirecting to the front page layout but the file which I sent you has been corrected to redirect to the login page.
