Hi,

I am testing the permissions of the forum categories in EasyDiscuss

There seems to be a permission problem when setting a category to NOT allow a unregistered user to VIEW replies

As you can see from my screen shots, the post in question HAS 1 reply (screenshot 1). The unlogged user can see that there is a post reply (which is fine since we really just don't want him to see the actual replies). We set this up in the category as such (screenshot 2). However, when the unregistered user clicks on the actual post for details, it says there are NOT replies (screenshot 3) which is not the case, there are some but we just need you to log in to view them

So, in essence, the user should see that there are some but not see their details. The message at the bottom should read -> THERE ARE SOME REPLIES BUT YOU NEED TO LOGIN TO VIEW THEM! (or something like that)

Please advise
Thanks
Danny
Hi Danny,
Currently, the way EasyDiscuss works is that it does not treat an accepted answer as a reply, which is why you are seeing 'no replies yet' message in that post.
However, you made a good point where on the recent view it shows 1 reply but inside the post does not show traces of a reply. I will discuss with the devs regarding this and see if a solution can be made here.

In the meantime, you can override this language constant to show a more appropriate sentence if you want.
