Hello,

I am trying to upload mp4 videos of approx. 100mb in size. I have ensured that both Joomla and EasyBlog are set to accept larger file sizes. I am running the latest version of EasyBlog - 5.0.23. Whenever I try to upload a file into a video block, I get the start of a green bar - then it just seems to hang. I have successfully managed to upload 1 file of 48MB after about 6 attempts. I have also increased the user access time-out to over 2 hours to mitigate dropouts from inactivity. But I am still not having success.
Hello,
If you mean to upload large files, you can at any time modify the PHP configuration of a next consider the following steps:
(Although they seem many steps, it's easy to do)

1. Log in to your cPanel
2. Section of Software / Services clicking the icon that says "Select Version of PHP".
3. Once there, select the version of PHP you want to use (for example 5.4)
4. If the version of PHP you want to use is not the one currently selected, press the button that says "Set as Current" / "Set Current".
5. Then press the button that says "Show PHP Settings" / "Changing PHP configuration".
6. You will notice that there are several options you can change. For this particular case you need to change two options:
- Upload_max_filesize
- Post_max_size

7. Set both options to a larger number than the file you are trying to upload (eg 16MB).
8. Once you have made the change, click on the button that says Save / Save

Hello Ezrul Fazwan,

We must help each other.

Todd Hunte

If it does not work this method, it is possible that the extension "Litespeed" to WHM it's intervening... as this extension has its own PHP configuration.
If you do not have access to the WHM panel, contact your provider to check this extension.

If you are uploading large files for download, it is advisable to buy a dedicated server. Otherwise, the consequences would be that your website becomes very slow. There is possibility of server down, because of the high bandwidth consumption.

Regards!
