Hi,
I'm activating encoding and uploading of videos for the first time and have bumped into a couple of problems.

1. I have passthru working and the path is correct but I'm not sure. It's the default path which is /opt/local/bin/ffmpeg
2. As a user I upload a small mp4 video, it appears to upload and the bar seems complete. Then it's stuck, nothing happens and no way to cancel.

I've cloned the site for testing and the video path gets the following warning;
/opt/local/bin/ffmpeg
The path you specified is invalid. Please enter a different path to FFMpeg
I tried changing the path to /clone/opt/local/bin/ffmpeg but that did not help.

Would you please have a look at this as I have the same issue with ES beta testing.

Thanks in advance.
Hi there,

Maybe you can consult with your Web service provider regarding this issues for correct path of the ffmpeg and make sure it follow the requirement need for ffmpeg to works as you can see here https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/welcome/minimum-requirements. Kept us updated then .

I supplied you with access to the ES Beta test site instead of the originally intended cloned live site. However it's the same issue so you can go ahead and look at it here.

Cheers!

Thanks Abdul, I've updated the information in this ticket again. Please go ahead and see if that works for you now

You appear to have a bug in updating login details ticketing system, but I'll go through that later...

Hi there,

Have you used the latest version of ES2.0? or maybe you can try to turn-off first your cloudflare and see how it goes.

Yep, it's RC1. I'll turn-off CF and get back with the results.

Cheers!

Okay Abdul, I've tested and it made no difference. You're knocking-off work shortly so I'm going to but this ticket on hold until tomorrow.
In the meantime I'll make a fresh clone of the live site using ES 1.4.12 for you to have a look at when you're bright eyed and bushy tailed Tuesday morning (your time of course )

FYI, I've asked about ES 2 RC1 on the bug /issue tracker.

Cheers!

By the way, this updated ticket system is loosing or not keeping it's information. For example, I originally marked this ticket normal priority and when I submit a response it jumps to none.
Also the fresh login details I've given twice now have not been stored and old and info comes up in it's place. That's of course rather tedious retyping this info...

Okay, I've gotten this upload and encoding to work. Thanks for your help.

And good luck to you in sorting out the bugs in this ticket system.

Hello Guy,

From what I can see here this ticket status is set to "normal" and not "none". Did you manually change this?
