Since 2.1.5 there i a new issue on our page:
- General Upload in the Video-Section works fine, but the Upload of a video to a group produces an error! (on Laptop one, upload from iPad works fine!)
check out the Screenshot below .... need urgent fix!

Perhaps you can elaborate more following details so we can better have a check? Because i did create a test group and upload a new video in that group, it seems load fine for me.

- Which group you trying to upload video
- Which user account having this issue

it seems to be a problem regarding the rights ... the test User I provided to you is a Joomla SuperUser ...
When I logIn as Superuser myself I can upload Videos in Groups without problem

when I login as a normal User (Joomla "Registered") I get the upload problem ...

Hi Matthias,

May I know which group should I test on to reproduce the issue? I tried the group I'm currently in and there is no issue with regards to uploading videos(http://take.ms/6WbpP).

Perhaps you can provide us the user account that was used to upload the video? So I can check on and rule out any permission issue.

I created a new user for you ... rights are assigned as for most users on our site "registered"
Username: user_test
PW: same as for the es_test User

The go to any group (this user is member of "GrĂ¼ner Daumen" and try to upload a video ....

Hey Matthias,

I am able to replicate the issue and I have log this in our tracker.

I have also helped you apply temporary fixes in the following files:
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/controllers/videos.php
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/videos/form/default.js
JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/scripts/site/videos/form.js


Can you help us check if uploading video files in cluster as a regular user works properly now?

Hey Matthias,

I am not able to replicate the issue anymore. The fix is working as I am able to upload video file in group as a regular member(http://take.ms/iSAiX).

Perhaps you can provide the exact steps to replicate?
