Hello everyone !

There are some days, Alejandro (founder of JReviews) updated Everywhere Add-on, so we can now rate EasySocial Groups and Events.
Thank you to him for his great work !!

Now for the integration is perfect, I thought of a few things that would make all the difference to improve the user experience (UX) with Groups/Events Stackideas and JReviews.

Because images are worth more than words, I realized a video simulation.

What do you think ?
If you too, you would like this concept become a reality, do not hesitate to manifest you here

A question for the Stackideas team.
Do you think this is feasible ?

Thank you !

Hi there,

It does look great, but the current solution will need to do because it would be a huge investment on our end to get something like this working. It's great that EasySocial loads things via ajax for their own apps, but that's not going to work for JReviews which a very complex application which stands on it's own. We would need to take it apart in order to try to feed different pieces into the EasySocial way of doing things and that's not feasible.

That is quite unfortunate . But this is a great idea, one that would make EasySocial more awesome! As we are currently developing the new EasyDiscuss, we can't give our full focus on EasySocial development. As such, it would be extremely helpful if you can put this on EasySocial Voices. That way, it will be easier for us to keep track of feature requests for EasySocial

Thanks for this input!

Can't really add too much because in this case the video is worth a thousand words

Having said that, here are some words: I think it's great because the user does not have to switch context (they are already in a group) in order to engage in the review task (they want to review the group). It makes it more likely a review will happen when it's on your mind, but it takes the content and places it in the place where "new" users/customers may be looking; the "reviews" app.

This is a nice UX and work flow: customers are converted via seeing the recommendation, then maybe goto the group for support/sharing/affinity and then make there review, if they haven't done so already, which hopefully feeds into more social activity in the group.

Hi, hi

This looks amazing
If this were combined with a paid component/gateway for Groups this would be dynamite.
Reading between the lines if I am not mistaken SI have some kind of payment system on the back boiler.
http://stackideas.com/forums/subscriptions-and-payments-extension

Or have I lost the thread completely

I have bought Payplans but am stalling…
If I understand things correctly Payplans does not as of now integrate directly with groups.
I understand SI´s reluctance to predict tame frames etc.

just my 2 cents

Thanks Paul heading up on this.

It seems like your question is not related this post exact topic.

By the way, we have plan to implement this membership feature in Easysocial, but now we are focusing in Easydiscuss 4. Once we done that, we will focus on Easysocial development.

Thank you Eileen O'Donnell for your feedback !

Now we should make this a reality

Alex Wong. What thought the team Stackideas ?
Is at the present time Alejandro from JReviews, or an outside developer could develop it ?

Here is what Alejandro told me about it.

In the current state of EasySocial it seems not yet possible, unfortunately.
We must wait until EasySocial mature, so that tercies extensions can interact within the groups, events and user profiles. And not only in the main stream, as is currently the case.
This is just a suggestion for future updates EasySocial

Thank you.
