Hey there,

I have changed the ffmpeg path in video settings. Can you try again?

Hi there,

Are you uploading video files to EasySocial or video url(eg youtube)?

If you want to upload video files, I see that your ffmpeg path is not entered correctly(attached).

If you are not sure where the path of ffmpeg is on the server, do consult with your webhosting provider.

a question if I store the videos outside my hosting, for example in amazon or backblaze (if I could) I still have to have a hosting that supports FFMPEG?

I was reviewing that it is not possible since my hosting is shared hosting and to have FFMPEG I would have to have a very expensive vps or a dedicated server, but I am seeing that if html5 videos can be uploaded on easyblog and it works very well, I could not put here html5 videos as well as in easyblog??

Yes ffmpeg is required even if remote storage is used. The videos section in EasySocial only accepts 2 types, video file uploads and video url.

Hi, I had to buy a vps for the videos to work, here is the address, I tried but I see that it does not encode the videos, what could it be?

FFMPEG has been instaled on your VPS:
