My general idea (we will sync together and give final idea)
1. New app in easysocial videochat extends converse kit
2. Add directly in converse kit possibility to start video chat one to one - works in native apps as well as web (aka facebook messenger - video or only audio - see attached example FB messenger)
3. Video chat is 3rd party service. I worked on this intensively last two months and tested some providers. Below are my proposals.
4. As videochat also means cost we must have possibility to activate videochat only to premium users (joomla user group and/or ES profile)

Videochat service providers:
a) https://www.simplewebrtc.com/
b) https://www.vonage.com/ (Tokbox)
c) https://www.twilio.com/

Note: I use tokbox and I was able to integrate it to joomla. However I think simplewebrtc is the best, but it is react only. So question if it is suitable also for web. Im sure Stackideas team will able to choose best partner. Also would be good to negotiate with them - because you will bring them many users! Also most of these providers also provide SMS service.

Videochat service providers I would like to incide to the above list: Whats App and Jitsi. I'm in agreement with everything else.

Plus pls consider agora.io. They have 10.000 mins video chat free/month and they integrate with similar social networks already.

Basically we need to allow one to one chat in conversekit. What would be cost with for such extension? This could be as easysocial extension app - it si very generic and very relevant in times of corona.
