So video processing is now supported in ES, I looked around but couldn't really find anything stating which Sites are supported for Video Processing in Stream. Could you possibly list what is supported?

Also I would like to make a suggestion, Could we get some of the Live Stream sites supported as well, such as Twitch!

Thanks!
Hi,

EasySocial uses oEmbed, hence any site that provides oEmbed functionality, can be embedded (and as such we don't have a specific list of supported video sites because it was coded in general rather than site specific).

Here is a good link that shows the list of available oEmbed providers. http://stackoverflow.com/a/18878730

As long as the site provides oEmbed, then it can be shared in EasySocial.

And unfortunately, Twitch does not support oEmbed.

Thanks for the response, is there going to be plans on expanding such support for other popular sites that don't use oEmbed?

Hi,

Thanks for sharing Fred!

As oEmbed is the more popular standard, we will be sticking with oEmbed for now. As for sites that doesn't provide oEmbed support, you can create a ticket in our voices platform and we will see if we can include them in the future.

Hi,

is there any progress with this? ... I tried to add a Twitch video and it's not working, so I guess not really...

I have found some ways to do that, but as I don't know how to implement it, would it be possible for anyone here to try it and maybe write a how to then?

A simple implementation of oEmbed functionality for Twitch.tv

Perhaps you can start a new thread on our forum and post in this category "Easysocial - feature request", so we will see if there a lot of users request this, we will definitely consider this.
