Video link albums

Hi,
I can see how one can build video albums out of uploaded videos or encoded ones but it would be nice to also have video albums where they are fully external. Right now, I can,t build a video album with just YouTube or Vimeo videos. I need to encode them and host them,
I think Miwisoft has an extension for this but should this be part of the core ?

I am not sure if I really understand you here. Can you elaborate more on the question here? Perhaps some screenshot for a better view.
