Hello. Each video has its in statistic about “views”.

“Views” increase only when user open videos in separated (new) page?

And “views” doesn’t increase when user scroll or view (play) videos in stream? It doesn’t work only for embed videos or for downloaded videos too?

Is it possible to do something?

Is far is I know VK.com somehow check stream during scroll and increase views. Hm. But may be it increase “stream item’s views count” and not video’s :/ I’m not sure.

That is correct. Views increased only when visiting the video entry page.

Currently it is not possible to improve this. If there is, it would be a rather complicated process and will definitely introduce more confusion and issues.

Hello. I have an idea:
1) user press Loads previous stream items or it loads automatically,
2) system check if there is stream items with video was loaded,
Result: system add +1 to videos view count. And it doesn’t matter was video uploaded or embed, does user press Play button or not.

Also may be if user just open stream item in new tab, it should add +1.

At the moment user’s very disappointed because videos get low count of views (but in fact a lots of views in stream missed).

Thanks.
