Video block shows black square

Hi there, when I include a video block in a blog post and select it to NOT autoplay/loop it will come out as a big black rectangle. I have included (intentionally) a static image in the first frame of the video which I would like to be the still image when the video has not started playing yet.
When the video is selected in win file explorer the preview window shows the still image.
Also when I copy the video address from the blog post and open it in a separate window the still image shows ??

Hello Julius,

It looks like we need to use preload="auto" to ensure that the player loads at least the first frame. Can you give this a try now? I have modified the file /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/blocks/video.php and changed the preload attribute.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I can't seem to access the FTP as you can see from my screen shot here, http://take.ms/TPI8u3 . Can you please advise?

yep works.
will that attribute always be on now? or do i need to set it each time i use a video in a blog?
also as I have uploaded a few versions of the video to try, how do I delete unwanted files from EB to avoid trhe site/blog being clogged up by old/stale files.

Hello Julius,

I have added the codes for this in 5.1.5 (which isn't released yet) but once you update to 5.1.5, it will have these codes. To delete unwanted files, simply load up media manager and remove them
