Hello,

Thanks for new features on userlist

I can sort by "recently login" by click on icon and it is working

But NOT when i try to :

- directly going to url : /utilisateurs/login

- use pagination links in bottom of the page :
like : ./utilisateurs/login?start=20

Hi Loic,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, I've identified the caused of the issue. It seems like this issue only happen when you've created a menu item that point to 'users' page, the sorting 'login' value conflict with the view 'login' when sef enabled on the site.

Anyway, for the temporary fix, open your EasySocial frontend language file and change the below :

COM_EASYSOCIAL_ROUTER_USERS_SORT_LOGIN="login"

to:

COM_EASYSOCIAL_ROUTER_USERS_SORT_LOGIN="lastlogin"

I will include the proper fix in next release of EasySocial.

Hi cbais,

Can you try the above solution and see if that fix your issue with the pagination or not.

Hope this help and thanks for reporting this issue back to us

Hello loic,

I tried to access /utilisateurs/login but it's displaying a 404 message. The login access which you have provided is also not working for me

hello,

sorry for wrong login access. I have modified site details. Please try

Yes for 404 if you access directly the url or if you play with pagination (that is the issue )
it is working only when you access by /utilisateurs/derniers and you click on the icon

Hello Loic,

I have a feeling that your language file doesn't have this translation:
COM_EASYSOCIAL_ROUTER_USERS_SORT_LOGIN="login"

Can you verify this for me? Because I cannot access your FTP. If you don't have this, please add it in your language file.

Also memberlist sorting problems here, and then esspecially with the pagination. First pages of sorting options work.
However, when going to the second page, strange things can happen. For example, when sorting on 'recently logged in', the first page shows it well...Clicking on the second page, lets the user return to the homepage of the page.....

So I follow this topic and please post here the sollution when found one.

p.s. COM_EASYSOCIAL_ROUTER_USERS_SORT_LOGIN="login" is in the language file on my site, so that is not the problem here....

Sorry for my late answer, but wanted to test something before answering....
The problem which is described in this topic is fixed with this fix. also for me...thanks!

However, I have a feeling that there are more problems related to this...

Today I tested the groups pagination....I have created a lot of groups for testing. When going to the group overview, the pagination is there.....2 pages of groups......When going to page 2 in the overview, it shows that that are no groups to show....

Strange, because there are groups to show!

Sam stated in his answer:

That is indeed what I have done on my site. I want to have my own menu and have sef enabled. Also for groups I have created my own menu item...

Paginations just does not work in some situations. Like the groups overview. I would not be surprised if the same problem will arrise with events. Have to test this myself though but will do that tomorrow. Will create a lot of events...

Somehow the way easysocial does his url routing, gives problems when users like me, make a site with our own menu......(it looks like it though ;-))

Hi Cbais,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding the group pagination, it seems like this issue is not related to the issue from this topic. Can you create another topic and include your site details so that we can further investigate your group pagination issue again?

Please advise.

Thanks Sam,

Will open new topic(s) for some problems which I have found.
Also have one with the badges/achievements (when I have created a menuitem to the badges myself, clicking on the achievements in a userprofile of a user, brings You back to the frontpage and not the achievements. when disabling the menu item, it works fine), but will open new topic for this also.

About the pagination problem, I investigated a bit more. Appears to be that the pagination will show a second page in the pagination numbering, while there is no second page. All groups are still shown on the first page...

I created 11 groups....with the 11th group, the pagination underneath started showing a 2 (second page), however when going to this second page, it was empty. The reason is simple. The first page will show 20 groups in total, not 10. The pagination thinks there are 10 groups a page, while in fact it are 20. When creating the 21th group, that group will be on the second page. It looks like the pagination has another counter to show that there is a second page, then there actually is...

Will look into the ES settings for this first (maybe I did something wrong), but if I cannot find the problem, I will post new topic for it...

The problem as the topicstarted described is fixed for me too, so this topic can be closed in that matter...
