v1.2.9: Error when creating a new group

I need help urgently. wen i try to create a new group am having this error: 
 * Group Type:

Fatal error: Call to a member function isOpen() on a non-object in /home/zedso1/public_html/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/group/type/themes/default/content.php on line 16


This started after upgrading to v1.2.9
the problem is fixed. i followed the instructions of mark on this link: http://stackideas.com/forums/problem-with-groups and my problem is solved.
