Just a notification update issue on Friend Request.\

I have been testing m,y site and noticed the friend Notification was in red and after agreeing to the request the notification remained. I had to select it a second time to get the update to turn off the notification.
Ah okay, I get what you mean now

In a test user, I did a friend request.
I logged in with the test friend and noticed the Friend notification at the top bar. (email icon)
With this account, I agreed to the friend request, and thought the friend request notification (red)would disappear.
The notification didn't disappear until I opened the notification icon (email) again.

It is slow to update.

Hope this helps, otherwise I'll test it again in the morning and screen record the process.

Hello Randall,

Hm, not sure if I understand you but if you are User A and approves User B to be your friend, User B would get a notification and they need to click on the notification so that it gets marked as read.

Mark,

I logged into my laptop and did a screencast. I noticed that the icon was the people or Friend Request Icon not email. Anyways the notification updates now, so maybe before it was just a little slow to update. Here is the screencast:

It appears to be updating quicker now than when I last tried my test.
