I found the article http://stackideas.com/blog/blog-from-your-ipad-with-blogsy by Andrew Rogers and after changing the API URL to http://site/index.php?option=com_easyblog&controllers=xmlrpc rather than http://site/joomla/index.php?option=com_easyblog&controller=xmlrpc I now get to the point where it attempts to authenticate me. I've matched my userId from EasyBlog and am utilizing the Username and password that I use when logging into the site but it returns "Sign in Failed. Please try again." We are utilizing LDAP authentication but I don't believe that would matter as long as I'm entering the correct credentials. Any thoughts or suggestions on where to look? This would be a really great feature for a couple of our bloggers. Thanks!

Brad
HI Guys, One thing that is not mentioned on the article for how to configure Blogsy is you MUST have at least one Blog post for the user you are trying to connect with or blogsy will not connect.

Login to easyblog create 1 post for the user, go back to blogsy then connect using that user.

Hello Brad,

Sorry for the late reply. We need more information to check this out. If you can provide a site URL and also the backend and FTP login then that would be great! Please advice.

Thanks!

Hello Paul,

Hm, is this required? I have never really tried the latest version of Blogsy but in previous versions, if you don't have any blog post it would still work.

Paul was correct, once I created a blog post for the user attempting to login from with Blogsy it connected right away. Thanks!
